Chavi POV .
When life takes unexpected turns all you have to do is follow your heart , that's what my Maa says but now seeing her hiding her tears in front of me is hurting me so much .
After my father died the Sarpanch's said he wanted to marry me but how can I marry him . He is 10 years older than me and is already married.
When my Maa denied him , he tried to force me to marry him . But I somehow managed to escape that situation and right now my Maa is sending me away from here .
"Laado , don't worry about me . I'll go to my brother's house after sending you away from here . Safely"
I shook my head and pouted as I asked.
"Then why can't I go with you to Mamaji's house?"
She sighed and brought her hand near my cheek and caressed it lovingly.
"Because he cannot stop that Birju, he is so strong beta and if he wants , he can marry you forcefully in front of the whole village and your Mamaji. Cannot do anything about it .... That's why I'm sending you to your Shambhu Uncle's place"
I can see the concern in her eyes . Taking a deep breath I bent down and touched her feet taking her blessings and nodded my head as I said .
"But you have to come there to meet me"
She smiled through her tears and nodded her head and then placed a soft kiss on my forehead and I smiled at her quickly kissing her both the cheeks and she giggled.
"Shambhu Bhaai Saab will come to pick you from the station, don't get down before your station comes and keep your things properly and don't eat anything from outside, I have packed your lunch"
She started saying everything in a single breath and my eyes widened. I placed my hand on her shoulder making her to stop in her track and said in a dramatic tone .
"Jesa aap kahe mata , Par aap apna khayaal rakhana"
(Whatever you say mom , you just take care of yourself)
And with that I sat in the train and my journey started .
I reached at the Jaipur station and as soon as I got out of the train I saw my uncle standing there waiting for me with a soft smile on his face .
"Baba"
[he is her father's eldest brother so she calls him Baba]
[baba~uncle]
I whispered to myself and ran towards him and hugged him tightly. He patted my head lovingly and asked
"Chavi how are you Gudiya?"
Moving back I wiped away my tears and a sob left my mouth as I replied
"I'm okay baba but look at you ......Bhudhe hogye hai aap"
And giggled to myself, he laughed out loud and softly twisted my ear and I dramatically cried out loud not caring about the side eyes that people are giving me looking at my childish act .
"Aaa baba it's hurting"
I pouted and he shook his head and chuckled . My smile dropped instantly and my eyes widened when I heard the sound of trains engine and i ran towards the train.
"My luggage"
I panicked as I quickly got in the train and thanks to the God that my seat was just next to the door and it made easy for me to hold my beg and jump out of the train before it could catch it's speed.
"Chavi"
Baba's panicked voice made me look at him and I bit over my tongue when I saw him looking at me with angry expression.
I blinked my eyes several times and looked down with a pout as I murmured a low
"Sorry"
And he shook his head but his expressions softened and he held my hand in his hand the luggage in his other hand as he guided me towards the car .
"Baba is this your car?"
I asked after I settled into the back seat my eyes scanned the car and then i looked the driver who started the car .
"No beta , Ranaji has provided some cars for the workers who work in palace . So that they can use them whenever they want to travel"
He replied with a smile. I nodded my head at his answer and looked out of the window to see the beauty of the Jaipur. My eyes widened in aww seeing the beautiful entrance of the place and I turned and looked at baba as I asked again.
"Baba , I have to stay in palace ??"
He smiled and caressed my head as he replied.
"Ranisa herself said that she will take care you your studies and she also said that you can stay in palace"
And as he completed saying I felt so happy knowing that I can study and maybe I can fulfil my dream . Thinking about this a smile formed on my lips .
The car stopped in front of the main gate and I slowly came out of the car followed by baba.
Suddenly my heart began beating fast and I felt something strange as I walked towards the palace main gate . My eyes roaming all over the surroundings . The beautiful palace and its beautiful garden .
"Come"
Baba said and I followed him inside the main gate .
As I entered the palace and walked in further I saw a beautiful woman dressed in an elegant saree walking towards me .
Her smile was so beautiful.
"Ranisa this is Chavi"
He said to that woman and then turned towards me and introduced her to me .
"Chavi this is Ranisa"
My eyes widened a little and I quickly joined my hands as I said 'namaste' and she held my joined hand and lowered them as she spoke with that beautiful smile .
"You don't have to bend in from of me Chavi"
She placed her hand over my cheek and smiled softly as she said .
"You are so beautiful"
Her words made me feel a little shy and I looked down playing with my fingers and I heard her chuckle.
"Thank you Ranisa"
My voice came out low and confused and I breathed out . She shook her head and said in her angelic voice.
"You don't have to call me Ranisa .....hmmm I think Tara Didi is fine"
I smiled at her but before I could even speak anything I heard baba saying.
"Ranisa , Ranaji would not like this"
And his words scared me because I heard a lot about Ranaji from people and when I say that I'm scared of him . I'm not lying.
Ranisa chuckled and moved a little towards me as she said .
"I'll handle him , You don't worry"
I smiled and nodded my head multiple times and Ranisa's eyes softened.
After that baba showed a room saying that I'll be staying in that . The room was on ground floor . Baba also said that I should not roam around in the palace and should not go on second floor as no one is allowed to . I nodded my head at his instructions and suddenly I realized that he's soon going to act like my second mother and this made me smile.
After spending few hours in the room , scrolling reels in my oldest and half broken phone , I kept it a side and decided to go to baba .
He must be in kitchen as he is the head and he instructions everyone. With slow and hesitant steps I walked towards the kitchen and saw that Ranisa was saying something to the Baba .
When her eyes fell on me she passed me small smile and then walked towards me . I stood straight when she neared me and stood in front of me.
"What happened Chavi ?, Do you need anything??"
She asked and I shook my head quickly, blinking my eyes and she shook her head.
"You don't have to be scared here Chavi . Be free to talk okay"
She said and I nodded my head. Suddenly our attention shifted towards the window when we heard a loud thundering sound and my eyes twinkled when I saw it started raining.
"Oh I love rain"
I murmured to myself with a smile.
"God , I just hate this rain"
My smile instantly dropped when I heard someone saying this and I saw Ranisa turning towards baba as she said with an amused smile .
"Lagta hai Vihaan aagya , pakka barish me iska kuch kaam reh gya hoga isliye ese chidh raha hai"
Baba also chuckled with her and Ranisa walked out of the kitchen towards the hall, peeking out of the kitchen I saw a tall man facing the opposite side and he was drenched completely in rain .
Again a thundering sound made me look out of the window and slowly with a smile I walked towards it . Looking here and there I saw the staircase and I walked towards them .
After few minutes I was on terrace , extending my hand , open in the air I felt cold water droplets falling over my hand . Which made me giggle.
Mohabbat barsa dena tu, sawan aaya hai

These lines left my lips as I stepped into the rain . My bare feet touched the cold tiles and I got drenched in the rain .

I opened my arms in the rain , turned around enjoying the beauty of them rain . The smell of the wet ground filled my nostrils. And I could not help but sing the next line .
Sab se chhupa ke tujhe seene se lagana hai
Pyaar mein tere hadd se guzar jaana hai
Itna pyaar kisi pe pehli baar aaya hai
My lips started trembling because of the cold but I did not care because I love rain . Closing my eyes and lifting my head a little up I felt droplets falling over my face . I giggled when I felt them over my lips .

Kyun ek pal ki bhi judaai sahi jaaye na?
Kyun har subah tu meri saanson mein samaye na?
Aaja na tu mere paas, dunga itna pyaar main
My voice rang in the quiet surrounding filled with beats of rain .
Kitni raat guzaari hai tere intezaar mein
Kaise bataun jazbaat yeh mere?
Maine khud se bhi zyada tujhe chaha hai
As the rain turned heavy I started taking slow round circles , my eyes closed , arms open wide and I felt like a child enjoying the rain .
Sab kuch chhod ke aana tu,sawan aaya hai
Tere aur mere milne ka mausam aaya hai
Sab se chhupa ke tujhe seene se lagana hai
"Ahhh"
Suddenly my leg slipped and my heart dropped as I realised I was about to fall. I closed my eyes tightly but before I could touch the ground I felt two arms wrapped around me and in reflex I wrapped my hands around that person's neck .
A strong masculine fragrance hit my nostrils when I took a deep breath and my lips parted. Slowly I opened my eyes and they met with most beautiful eyes I have ever seen .
My body felt goosebumps and a gasp left my lips when I felt his warm breath over my lips . We were so close . I got lost in his eyes and he , who was holding me by my waist kept looking into my eyes without blinking.
His body slightly bent with mine .
My eyes traveled from his eyes to his nose , then towards his lips and I gulped. I took in his handsome face and realised that I have never seen someone like him before.
He was so strong, I felt so petite in from of him.
I was busy looking at him , when he suddenly brought his hand near my face and removed my wet hair which was there over my cheek .
His fingers brushed against my cheek and my stomach did a weird thing .
Suddenly a loud thunder made us come back to reality and he immediately made me stand on my feet and took few steps back .
My breath came out low .
He looked at me and then swiftly walked away from there with long strides.
I kept standing there , the rain slowed down but my heartbeat did not . Blinking my eyes , I gulped and touched my cheeks with both the hands when I felt them warm
